Stars & Honeycombs Placemats

These placemats are made with Tunisian crochet honeycomb stitch, alternating with regular crochet star stitch. Any weight cotton can be used from fingering to worsted, and there examples given in the pattern as well as gauge and finished measurements. There are 2 complete sets of instructions to follow for lighter (fingering, sport) and heavier (worsted) yarns.  I recommend familiarity with Tunisian crochet in the round, Tunisian honeycomb stitch, and star stitch - but there are videos linked to all these techniques in the pattern.
